In Dehli and Bangalore two seminars were held last month by Minitube GmbH, Tiefenbach Germany in cooperation with Chemtron Analytical Instruments PVT Ltd of Delhi India. The Seminars had as a title “Improvement of Livestock Breeding in South East Asia” and were held in the National Agricultural Centre in Delhi and the Atria Hotel in Bangalore.

Minitüb GmbH and Cryogenetics AS announce a new strategic cooperation based on the products and know-how available in the two companies. Both companies will participate in adapting the existing and well proven Minitüb GmbH product range for use in aquaculture and also initiate the efforts to bring new products to the aquaculture egg producers. Based on joint marketing efforts, Cryogenetics AS will be responsible for sales and customer contact.

Der Award des International Congress of Animal Reproduction (ICAR) zeichnet einen aktiven Wissenschaftler für herausragende Grundlagenforschung und angewandte Forschung im Bereich der assistierten Reproduktion von Tieren aus. Der Simmet Preis in Höhe von 50.000 Euro wird alle vier Jahre bei der ICAR Konferenz vergeben. Die Auszeichnung wird von der Familie Simmet in Erinnerung an den Minitüb Gründer, Dr. Ludwig Simmet, gesponsert.

Anlässlich der diesjährigen Boar Semen Conference war bei Minitüb auch eine Delegation aus Südamerika zu Gast. Die Tierärzte stammten aus Brasilien und Chile und befassen sich seit Jahren mit neuen Methoden und Technologien in der Schweineproduktion. Im Mittelpunkt des Interesses stand der Informationsaustausch zur weiteren Professionalisierung und Automatisierung der Samenproduktionslabors. In partnership with our subsidiary Minitube Indonesia, two seminars were held by experts from Minitüb Germany, Dr. Frank Müller-Schlösser, Product Manager Bovine, and Marc Birkefeld, Area Sales Manager for Indonesia. The seminars included discussions on the latest developments in assisted reproduction technologies and also focused on specific challenges that tropical climates pose to these technologies.
